January 5, 2002 @ 7th Street Saloon & Cafe Bristol, TN.

Our first show of the New Year. We played with D-Hyma(Nation), Ballistic and Hi-Fi Drive By. It was an interesting show to say the least, an eclectic mix of music. Hi-Fi Drive By played first. Their bass player couldn't make it, but they played anyway. I had not seen these guys before , but despite not having their regular bassist I thought that they were pretty good. I would like to see these guys again with a full line up. D-Hyma(Nation) played next. They are a crass punk band from Kingsport. They were pretty tight, but not my cup of tea. It just seemed that they we're trying to hard to be crass. Then there was Ballistic. I like these guys a lot, but this wasn't one of their better shows. You could tell that they hadn't practiced in a while. They still had a lot of energy, but the music seemed to fall a little short that night. And finally we went on last. It was not one of our best shows, but still yet it was pretty good. Scott Thomas from Omega Tribe came on stage and played Latigo Ball Stretcher with us. It was cool to be on stage w/ Scott again, it has been awhile since the last time. (Check out the 7th St picture gallery to see a picture.) Brandon broke a string, and it was late so we cut it short. Overall a pretty good show (the after party was fun as well.) Special thanks to Stace for coming all the way from Ashville to see us, and helping us break shit on the train tracks. You Rock.
